  • George Washington taught himself how to use the surveying instruments. With the help of Lord Fairfax George becomes a professional land surveyor at the age of seventeen. WIth George’s land surveying accurate maps were made of the geography. When George was a land surveyor, he was the official county surveyor. He surveyed over 60,000 acres of land.
  • George Washington was the Commander in Chief of the Continental army

  • George Washington's first military debut was in the French and Indian War. Washington was a major for the British army and was sent to Jumonville  Glen to take back the land forcibly. He surprised the French and was able to win the battle without getting hurt. This battle started the French and Indian War.
  • George Washington led the Consitutional Convention 
  • I propose the Virginia plan. Where the delegates are based on population. 
  • I think we should compromise. Where the House of Represerepresentatives are based on population, and the Senate has two senators from each state.

  • George Washington was the first president of the United States of America
  • George Washington owned many horses but two of his favorites were Nelson and Blueskin. Washington chooses to ride Nelson during battle because he was not scared of the cannon fire. He was riding Nelson during Yorktown when the British surrendered. Blueskin was the most famous horse. He was ridden during the revolutionary war but much less. George Washington is riding Blueskin in this picture.

  • You need to ride with the troops to put down the rebellion. It will show that the central government has power.

  • George Washington was the head of the Continental Army. He eventually leads the army to win the Revolutionary War. This particular battle is the Battle of Princeton. Washington tricked the British troops into thinking he was at the campground when he was really ready to attack. Washington attack with a surprise attack and was the key for him winning the battle.

  • The Constitutional Convention help for the government we have today. George Washington was the head of the convention. Although he did not add to the conversation, he sat back and listen to all of the proposals.  Some of the major proposals were the Virginia Plan versus the New Jersey Plan. That later came to a conclusion of the Great Compromise.

  • I propose the New Jersey plan.  The number of delages from each state should be equal.

  • George Washington was the first president of the United States. Although he was a great man he could not do this by himself, he had three people in his cabinet to help him; Henry Knox,  Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton advised Washington that he had to put down the rebellion himself. So Washington road with the troops and put down the rebellion without any shots fired.
