What are GMOs and are they in our crops?
A GMO id s genetically modified organism, the organism in which the DNA has been altered or modified. Yes, our crops are genetically modified.
There are multiple reasons why, follow me and I'll show you.
As you can see, we have a lot of land filled with crops. By planting genetically modified seeds, the crops require a smaller amount of chemicals and less machinery, which saves me much time and money.
So GMOs only benefit you?
No, they benefit the consumer and the plant as well.
GMOs conserve water, soil, and energy, as well as keep the plants from growing viruses.
Oh, I see! GMOs are good for our farm.
