  • No need thanking me . Everyone is equal in this country no matter what they look like or believe in.
  • The Attack on Fort Sumter started the civil war. Confederate troops fired on a Union fort.
  • The Battle of Gettysburg July 1863
  • The battle of Antietam alone was the single bloodest day of American history. The Union finds a copy of of Lee’s plans around three cigars.
  • Appomattox Court House April 1865
  • There . No more war.
  • The Emancipation Proclamation guarantee the 1st amendment, in other words free slavery. Lincoln said slaves in southern states were free.
  • Assassination of Lincoln April 1865
  • The Battle of Gettysburg was the turning point . Troops fought for 3 days , 40,000 casualties.
  • The Union won and the war ended. General Lee surrendered his troops to General Grant.
  • The country loss its leader in April 1865. Lincoln was killed by John Wilkes Booth in a theater.
