Storyboard Text

  • She has been brought up in a strict, non smoking family all her life, and would never disrespect her upbringing.
  • There are numerous, proven and well known health problems associated with cancer causing issues, from the smoking of cigarettes. She also does not want to lose her friends, or have them think that she is boring.
  • The character has been exposed to direct pressure, as she has been given a difficult decision.
  • The main reason why she has acted this way is because she would never go against her, and her familys strong beliefs.
  • The character has also been exposed to peer pressure, as she is being encouraged to do something she has no interest or desire of doing.
  • The second reason why she has acted this way, is because of the serious health problems, which are well known. She also has feelings of not wanting to lose her friends.
  • Oh! You took your time! Whats the matter?
  • Sorry girls, i've been really sick today and i think im getting the flu.
  • She has been exposed to direct pressure, but her beliefs far outweigh any influence or strain of this type.
  • So you don't want to try one? It will make you feel better!
  • No, not tonight thanks, I feel really terrible and Im starting to cough.
  • She has also been exposed to simple social pressure.
  • The girls have asked where she has been for such a long time. She uses the excuse of not being well, and telling them she may have the flu.
  • The girls are trying to convince her to try a cigarette, however, she is determined to use any excuse she can think of as a way of displaying assertion.
