  • Fair is foul and foul is fair.
  • O valiant cousin! Worthy gentleman!
  • For brave Macbeth-well he deserves that name
  • The victory fell on us.
  • Banquo and Macbeth, all hail!
  • All hail!
  • The three witches are together and discuss the next time they will meet up. They decide to reunite when the battle is over on an open field where they will encounter Macbeth.
  • That is a step on which I must fall, or else o'erleap, for in my way it lies.
  • Captain and Ross tell King Duncan of Macbeth's bravery and success in putting down both the rebellion and the Norwegian soldiers.

  • Macbeth and Banquo meet the three witches. They tell them that Macbeth will gain the titles of "Thane of Cawdor" and "King" while Banquo's children will be kings.
