Jessica finally arrives home after a couple of weeks in the hospital. She is determined to walk on her own but she physical cant. She isn't conformable going to school because she dosn't want anyone to make fun of her. But Fiona her best friend convinces her to go back.
Fiona pushes Jessica in the wheelchair at school all day. Everyone is so kind and loving to Jessica. Jessica is happy to be back and she gets to see all of her friends and teachers. She is placed next to a girl named Rosa in math class who has cerebal palsy but she is a math genus.

Jessica goes to her first track meet science the acciendent. She sees Gavin and some of her other friends that she hasnt seen in awhile. She talks to Gavin and she says that Gavin should do track. Her track team wins the meet and Fiona does well.
Coach Kyro calls the team into his office during lunch one day and shows them a video of a runner with a running prosthetic running in a meet. He then tells them that they are going to raise $20,000 for a running prosthetic for Jessica so she could run again..

Jessica finally gets pipe leg after about two months being home. She meets a girl named Chloe that works at the front desk who lost her leg to cancer and has a prosthetic. Jessica's doctor Hank dosnt want her to get a prosthetic because her leg is still growing. The pipe leg is very strange at first but Jessica feels like she has a leg again.
