The sunset represents the end of life since it reminds us of the end of a day, the red colours of the sky and the flames surounding the man represent the rage and passion. The way they trap the man who is running towards us should show you that he is fighting but trapped.
The man sitting in the clouds represents the wise man, we can see a lightbulb which represents his idea or his mark on earth. By putting him higher than the other people, I was trying to show that he is dead since it is meant to represent something unreachable. The younger people bellow him don't share his lightbulb meaning that the wise man failed to leave his mark.
THe boat in the scene represent the good men who were trying to accomplish something. By making it head towards a cliff or a rock I was trying to show the sense of regret and show that they didn't achieve their goals since there is something blocking the way towards success. The flames surrounding the crosses is meant to represent the their willingness to fight for their lives but they are sinking, meaning that they are dying.
The rainbow in the scene is meant to represent the fun they once had and the rain is meant to represent that their whole life was waisted and that they didn't achieve anything. There is also a sun hiding behind clouds which shows that their happy days are over and all that is left is regret for not achieving anything.
The fire and the dark surroundings of the man represnts death and should show that the man is dying. The sun shows the light and represents the epiphany that the man had and the insight he gained only when death was near.
The mountain shows the unreachable which is mentioned in the stanza (sad height). It could represent heaven. The man sitting on the mountain represents the father who has passed away. in the second line it talks about a curse which is shown through the rain in the scene. The man crying is the poet who's tears are very passionate and show that he will never forget his father.
