Storyboard Text

  • Hi, I'm Emma and I have been a student at Holy Trinity since  grade 10. I attended White Oaks in grade 9, but I moved here in grade 10 because it is closer to home. HT is by far one of the most welcoming places and I have adapted very well.
  • Here are some of my hobbies and commitments!
  • My favourite sport is swimming, I am currently on my way to practice and walking on deck to get to the pool. I have been on my school swim team since the start of high school , but before that I was a very competitive swimmer for 6 years. At my previous swim meet I received two third place medals!!!
  • I am now at my dance studio. Sadly I stopped dance last year, but it taught me many different skills such as patience while learning new moves.
  • Dance is not the only art I have taken part in, I have always had an interest in the drama programs at school. I took dram grade 9 at WOSS and last year here at HT.
  • At HT the only club that I have joined is swimming and I am hoping that there will be a rugby team again this year for me to join. Though, in elementary school I was a huge part of our Me to We club, running many events. I also created my own friendship bracelet making club for Mental Health Awareness Month.
  • During the pink game at the start of the year I volunteered with S.H.I.E.L.D members to run the grade 8 day. I had an amazing day running around to different activities with the grade 8s. I have also done volunteer work a my elementary school where I am also currently doing my co-op  helping young students strength their French skills and helping the grade 8s prepare for high school.
  • I have lived in the town of Oakville for my whole life. I have volunteered with two organizations in the community over the past few years. I first volunteered at my elementary school helping in grade 1 classes, I then was a camp counsellor at a summer camp in the rec centre next to our school for two weeks in 2017. Last year throughout the school year I assisted in pools with a program called pool pals teaching kids how to swim. The pool pals was my favourite volunteer experience because of my love for swimming.
