I predicted that this would happen. My worst fears became my reality the day that I ran into the rebels. When I saw them I was in shock and I was the mostscared I had been in my entire life.
As if forcing me to watch brutal murders of innocentpeople, the rebels made sure this attack would followme forever. They took an axe and cut off both of my hands. I was in the most excruciating pain imaginable.
When the rebels finally let me leave, I had to fend for myself. I remember wondering how I would be ableto survive on my own without hands. It was then when I first started wishing for death.
I made it to a hospital by the help of a man that I passed by in the woods. A few ladies in a nearby village also helped me. I am getting the help I need, but I would still rather end the pain by dying. Itwould bring some peace after all I have been throughin the last few days.
