Grace Smith walked down the hallway of her high school, headed towards her favorite teachers room. Miss March was the schools art teacher and art was Graces favorite class. Grace turned the corner and walked into Miss March's room. She was surprised when she saw the classroom was basically empty all of the students paintings and drawings that normally hung on the walls were gone.
Grace walked over to Miss March, who was looking around the room with a sad look on her face ." Where's all your stuff?" Grace questioned. " In boxes, in my car. Grace, there firing me." "What! Why?" Grace asked. " Mr. Jones thinks I stole the Bake sale money. " Miss March answered. Immediately Grace remembered something from the day of the bake sale. " I saw Mr. Jones with the money, I bet you he stole it! " Grace yelled.
Grace ran down the hallway after talking to Miss March about her being fired. She was headed to Mr. Jones office to give him a peace of her mind. When she got to the office she noticed it was empty. Suddenly, Grace realized that she could sneak into his office and try to find the money to prove her theory. She tiptoed inside and went over to the desk, then started searching through the drawers. Then she saw it . . . She found the money but, she had no idea what to do with it.
All of the sudden Mr. Jones angrily burst through the door. Grace panicked , she knew it was going to be hard to get out oft this one. " Grace? What are you doing in my office? " He yelled " Um, Um I-I " she stuttered " And what are you doing with that money? " He added \ " Um " Grace said " Dave it, I've had enough of you Grace Smith, Your suspended."
" Wait, no! " Miss March Interrupted as she rushed in. " Grace is not getting in trouble, you are !" She gibed at him. " Excuse me?, Mr. Jones said, snatching the money out of Graces hands. " We know you stole the money! " Grace added. " Oh Really? And how are you going to prove that? " He said with a mean tone. " Security tapes. We'll find them and call the superintendent. "
Grace, Miss March and Mr. Jones stood in the main office waiting for the superintendent to arrive. Miss March and Grace both had smiles on their faces but, Mr. Jones, not so much. He had been caught and he knew it. " Looks like we should start unpacking those boxes, huh?" Grace asked with a smile. " Lets do it!. " Miss March replied.
