Storyboard Text

  • We will speak further
  • But be the serpent under't. He that's coming must be provided for; and you shall put this night's great business into my dispatch
  • Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth of her plan to kill Duncan, so Macbeth can be king
  • Duncan arrives at Macbeth's castle
  • This castle has a pleasant seat; the air nimbly and sweet recommends itself unto our gentle senses
  • Macbeth decides he will kill Duncan
  • I am settled, and bend up each corporal agent to this terrible feat. Away, and mock the time with fairest show: False face must hide what the false heart doth know.
  • Macbeth and Banquo speak of the three sisters. Macbeth lies to Banquo.
  • I think not of them.
  • I dreamt last night of the three weird sisters: to you they have showed some truth.
  • Macbeth sees a dagger before him
  • Is this a dagger which i see before me, the handle pointed toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee: I have thee not, and yet i see thee still. Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible to feeling as to sight?
  • I go, and it is done; the bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan; for it is a knell that summons thee to heaven or to hell.
  • Lady Macbeth rings bell signalling Macbeth it is time to kill Duncan
