  • Yay! We can do things for ourselves now.
  • This revolution was from 1789-1799, this led to the end of the monarchy and also the end to many wars.
  • Role of the Press
  • In the 1780's France was experiencing severe financial problems, there was an increase in the population, there was also many crop failings because of the bad weather.
  • Role of Women
  •  The Enlightenment was the age of new ideas and possibilities. This greatly effected the monarchy because of the change in the republic. Which helped the Third Estate have more of a voice.
  • Role of Mob Mentality
  • The role of the press allows people to share large amounts of information at a time. Marat was in charge of the printing press and starting trouble in his writings. Charlotte Corday killed Marat because she blamed him for all the death penalties.
  • During the French revolution the women were known for their fearlessness. They protested the price of bread. The women were also able to convince the king to sign the declaration.
  • When people are in a mob the actions that they do as a group is primarily based off of emotion, and the actions are greater. The Mob mentality can be driven by fear and power.
