  • A prophesy claims that your future son shall rid me of my life! I am banning you to your chambers where you shall never bear children!
  • Father no!
  • And while Danae despaired that her life was over, the gods fate was yet to be completed, and so Zeus came to Danae in a shower of gold and she conceived and gave birth to his son, Perseus.
  • You have deceived me and given birth to a son, I am locking you and Perseus in a chest and setting you adrift at sea in the hopes you will perish and my life will be spared!
  • NOOO!
  • But they survived and reached land where a fishermen gave them refuge in his home.
  • We arrived back on land alive! Phew.. Thank the gods where safe, they have spared us and you will grow up safe.
  • ...and he did safely grow up, and when he and his mother traveled back to claim his grandfathers throne, Perseus killed his grandfather, just as was prophesied.
  • Just as the gods have prophesied, Perseus my son, has killed my father. Even though he tried everything to prevent it. The gods will always prevails
