Storyboard Text

  • Magnesium (Meg) and Sulfur (Sam)
  • Potassium (Kim) and Astatine (Arthur)
  • Meg and Sam
  • Sam do you want my red car?
  • Yes please Meg!
  • This is Meg and Sam. Their parents just started talking a few weeks ago and they have gone on many play dates. Meg has a really cool red car while Sam doesn't have anything to play with.
  • Carbon (C.J.) and Phosphorus (Payton)
  • Meg's dad Arthur a metal and Sams mom Kim a nonmetal have been in a Ionic Bond relationship ever sense Kim gave Arthur her number. After that day it seems like they are glued together, constantly being together.
  • C.J. and Payton
  • Sam isn't having any fun because he has no toy so Meg gave her toy to Sam making both of them very happy. Now that are in an Ionic Bond relationship their friendship is so strong. Meg now has a Positive charge for doing something nice and Sam has a negative charge which pulls each other together becoming best friends. Meg turned into a cation and Sam turned into an anion because of their charge.
  • C.J. and Payton
  • Years later Kim and Arthur gave birth to C.J. and Payton. The two babies were always unhappy and crying all the time.
  • (2 years later) C.J. started crying because his sister Payton had a toy zebra that she brought to play with at the park. He really wanted her toy zebra for himself.
  • Payton decided to be a good sister and shared her toy Zebra with her brother. She didn't want to but she was tired of C.J. crying so much. C.J. was happy that Payton shared her zebra with him because he wanted it to himself. They are now a covalent bond sharing their toy. Their electronegativity difference means that they are a polar bond.
