Ray Bradbury's "All Summers in a Day" takes place at a school on Venus where there is no sun and has been raining for 7 straight years. The main character's name is Margot and she is very interested in the sun.
At the school a student named William along with the other students bully and make fun of Margot because she came to Venus later than everyone else. One day Margot predicts that the sun will come out and all of her classmates just laugh at her and lock her in a closet.
All of a sudden in the class the rain stops and the sun comes out. All of the children run outside and have a great time enjoying the sun.
After a while in the sun one of the students feels a raindrop on her hand and then it begins to rain again. As the student make their way back into the school one of them realizes they forgot to let Margot out of the closet.
The kids walk back into the school felling very sad and guilty, and re-enter the classroom. The students slowly let Margot out of the closet to see her crying. All of the students fell awful for what they had just done.
Treat everyone equally and how you would want to be treated no matter their differences.
