Lucy wanted the main role as the bride, but Fidgeman wanted Eva as the bride and not Lucy. This affected Lucy and made her feel very vulnerable and sad.
Lucy feels very omitted because she has worked so hard for the main role as Rupunzel and Eva just walks in and takes the role away from her!
I have always admired Fidgeman for his professionalism, great team work and commitment. But I have never been so outraged by his poor choice, he has never acted this strange.
I think that Eva is a lovely girl but she didn't have to go through such intense auditions and doesn't have half the amount experience that I have and she got the role, just like that!
Eva was very excited to have the role, but felt sorry for Lucy.
Lucy could confront the situation by talking to the casting director about that to improve on for next year and talking to Eva and Fidgeman and accepting that it might not have been your time for this specific play and move on. Lucy could take deep breaths and approach the situation in a calm and non bias way.
The next day...
Hi Lucy, It's ok. I should have comforted you, instead of dancing and laughing right infant of your face. I didn't mean to just walk in and take the spotlight. How about we share the role?
Hi Eva. Im sorry that I acted really strange yesterday. I went home and reflected on how I acted and I should have reacted better.
Lucy went home and calmed down by meditating and taking deep breaths. She had a long bath and baked a cake to make her feel better.
Lucy and Eva talked about the situation. They went for a walk in the park and then became best friends. They both share the role and never fought again.
