Storyboard Text

  • Hello! My name is Oil, and I am the world's most important source of electrical energy.
  • Hello, Oil. My name is Wind. Not only am I the worlds most important source of electrical energy, but I am also renewable.
  • If you'e so important, tell me your social benefits!
  • Gladly.
  • Well for starters, wind power provides electricity to communities in a way that is socially friendly.
  • But that power has raised a lot of concerns over the noise production.
  • Oil on the other hand, is so important that 90 million barrels of it are needed per day.
  • This may be true, but oil is bad for human health because it can cause asthma attacks and respiratory diseases.
  • People are not exposed to as many hazardous wastes and emissions when wind power is used.
  • Oil drilling can compromise the safety of our water by causing drinking water problems and aquifer cross contamination.
