  • Hello, my name is Gemma, today you kids will be learning about 5 basic shapes. Here they come! Listen to their name and some of their properties.
  • Hi friends! My name is circle, I am round like a clock. I have no corners or edges. I am a circle. Here comes my mate square.
  • I'm a square! I have four corners and four edges. I very similar to a box. I am even on all sides. I am a square and I have to go now, bye!
  • Sorry I'm late! It's quite hard to walk with no legs! Anyway, my name is triangle and I have three corners and sides. I am an equilateral triangle and there are many different types of me. I best be off to the doctor now, as I need some legs.
  • Hi kids my name is rectangle and I have four sides and corners that are not all equal, unlike my friend square. I am rectangular like your television screen.
  • Hello little children I am called diamond, I have four sides and corners, but I am not a square or a rectangle as I am put together differently. I am a diamond, like two triangles put together! I am the last shape that you will learn today, so I hoped you enjoyed our show! Remember, circle is round, square is a box, triangle is like a stop sign, rectangle is like your T.V screen and I am like two triangles put together! Bye!!
