Storyboard Text

  • Tom, Tom, we're lost! We can never get out of this awful place.
  • Becky! I've finally found the exit. It leads right out to the river. Come on!
  • We put a big metal door right on the entrance to the cave! No one will ever enter now! What's the matter, Tom?
  • WHAT?!! Injun Joe is still in the cave!
  • Tom and Becky have gotten separated from the rest of their friends after being chased by a bunch of bats! They are frantically trying to escape. They also have no idea where they are.
  • Huck, I always reckoned we'd get it.
  • Tom is looking for an exit to the cave. They are both starving and exhausted, but they keep going. Eventually, Tom sees someone! And it is no other than...Injun Joe! Tom quickly runs back and declines to tell Becky what he saw. After some more searching, he finally finds an exit! They hitch a ride home on a boat that is passing by. They get back to town at midnight.
  • I'd be glad to give Huck proper housing and education, to show my gratitude.
  • After a couple days of rest and relaxation from their cave experience, Tom decides to visit Huck, since he heard he was feeling better. On the way, he stops at Becky's house. After talking with Judge Thatcher, he learns that they put a door on the entrance and bolted the door shut. Just one problem, though...Injun Joe was still in the cave! They go to the cave and find Injun Joe lying at the door holding his knife. He had died of starvation.
  • I've tried it, and it don't work. I can't stand them ways.
  • Hucck, what are you doing? Everyone's lookin' for you.
  • Tom re-enters the cave with Huck. He noticed something before but decided to come back for it later. Huck agrees and it turns out that the treasure was in the cave the whole time! There was a trapdoor under the boulder with the cross which led to the treasure. It was about $12,000, which would now accumulate to a little less than $300,000.
  • My, Tom! We're RICH!!
  • Tom and Huck go to a party celebrating the Welshman for saving her. The secret of Huck saving her has already spread, and everyone knows. The Widow Douglas has offered Huck a home and education (including religion), but just then Tom reveals that Huck is rich.
  • After a while of being housed by he Widow, Huck runs away because he can't take it anymore. He can't stand staying clean all the time, eating with forks and knives, and going to church. However, Tom talks him back into it by saying that if he doesn't do it, he can't be in "Tom Sawyer's gang of robbers". Huck agrees to give it another shot.
