Storyboard Text

  • I am the democratic Andrew Jackson.
  • Hello people of the United States, I am the great Republican John Q. Adams
  • This election was a rematch from the last race to White house in 1824 as Jackson accused Adams of "cheating" in order to ensure his victory. This was either for Adams and his party to prove that this wasn't from "cheating," or Jackson to bring back himself and his party to show he's capable of.
  • Thank you for electing me as the new president!
  • The last election was a joke. I'm here to bring back the Democratic party and prove myself. VOTE FOR ME!
  • Lets make this election a replay of last years. I won it fairly once and I can do it again, as I am the most mature and intelligent candidate. Plus I'm part of the best party!
  • During this election, Jackson absolutely dominated, as he won 178-83 taking over New York, Pennsylvania, the South and the West.
  • In 1824, Jackson had won the popular vote and barely lost in the electoral, leading to him blaming Adams for cheating his way to victory. 1828 was an attack of the opponents reputation and Jackson along with his running mate were able to take the victory.
  • The Democratic party took over this election, as it grew drastically. Part of this is thanks to the organization skills of a man named Martin Van Buren, but in the end, many people contributed to the democratic win over John Quincy Adams.
  • I'd like to thank anyone who helped me out along the journey because we wouldn't have got this huge victory without you!
