Okay class tomorrow is Pi Day! Don't forget your circular desserts!
How am I going to cut this strawberry pie?
I really hope that Ms. Reyes can help me cut it so the whole class can have a piece
Yeah, I don't know either.
Well, I don't really know how we can cut this evenly.
That is when Pi comes into play! With Pi we can figure out how to cut it.
Well, pi was discovered by William Jones in 1706.
But how does it tell us how to cut it?
Pi is infinite and a non-repeating sequence of digits. It is a ratio of circumference to diameter of a circle.
With the unit circle! Pi measures every angle of the unit circle and uses it as a measurement.
We can use those measurements to find the exact angle at which we'd have to cut the pie.
