  • Teacher asked parents for ideas to help Jimmy complete his homework and study. Parents agreed to check his agenda and work every night for completion. Teacher committed to texting parents each day with short message on Jimmy's performance. Parents also agreed that bored does not equal gifted and Teacher agreed that if Jimmy improves he will assess.
  • During classes Teacher checks Jimmy's work and sends short texts to Parents letting them know how he did. Teacher also checks to see that Parents checked his agenda. Teacher keeps regular communication with Parents.
  • Life at home is still busy for Jimmy and Parents. But Jimmy does his work and Parents check it each night. They talk to Jimmy about his performance and even started sending texts back to Teacher with feedback.
