  • The kingdom of Kush was also called Nubia which means “land of gold” since of all the gold and minerals it has in it.
  • The people in Kush had valuable resources including gold, livestock, wood, luxury items, iron, and other minerals.
  • Kush traded with Egypt using the huge amount of gold they had.
  • Phoenicia was surrounded in a forest of cedar trees which was their source of wood. 
  • Phoenicia was enemies with Egyptians, Mespatainians, and Romans which means the had to protect themselves.
  • Phoenicia had a trade network, kings, political assemblies, commercial fleets, and lots of other things there.
