A student girl wanders the hallways distracting herself, she seems distraught. She holds her books tight to her abdomen and walks at a quick pace, head slightly down from a straight forward gaze. She overhears chatter from nearby students. Catching a sentence or two of her peers mundane small talk.
A posh looking girl casually speaks loud enough for passersby to listen in, she easily mentions her generalized anxiety the way someone would be worried about a simple test the next period. Her over exaggerated hand gestures and upbeat tone almost suggests she is at ease with such a taxing disorder. The girl with the books shifts her gaze towards her for a second while judgement insues. She’s disgusted with the posh actor. She walks along, ignoring her.
At the end of the hallway she takes a hard left, her aim to exit the school for some time to herself, break for a little while and recuperate. This relaxes her for a moment before she runs into a boy whose slumping down the hallway, quite hard in fact, such that she drops her books. A scowl crosses her face, unbeknownst to the boy. She sighs as she takes a stand, books in hand. The boy has apologised multiple times by now, but his monotone voice shows no regret for his clumsiness.
