As many as 1 in 3 US students say that they have been bullied. This includes cyberbullying.
Studies have shown that adults can help prevent bullying by keeping communication open, talking to their children about types of bullying, encouraging them to do what they love, modeling kindness and respect, and encouraging them to get help when they are involved in bullying and to help others.
Adults who intervene on behalf of young people being bullied also make a huge difference. This means both adults and children have a hand in preventing cyber bullying. Together we can make our schools safer for everybody!
