Unit 1 Project_Government
This storyboard does not have a description.
The form of national government at the time, The Articles of Confederation proved to be weak which resulted in states operating independently. This created many problems and it was time to create a new government plan.
An organization known as the Framers helped devise the plan for a strong government system. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and James Madison were a few of those men.
Because delegates were not all on the same page and had different views on how government should be it was very difficult to get all men to agree to a set of terms and conditions for the country. Throughout all hardships in the creation of the US Constitution, the biggest challenge was getting all members to agree.
Once all delegates from all states were able to reach common ground, the new plan for a strong government was set in motion to be finalized.
The United States Constitution, which established America's national government and its laws, was signed September 17, 1787.
