  • Mercutio
  • Thy head is as full of quarrels as an egg is full of meat, and yet thy head hath been beaten as addle as an egg for quarreling.
  • Benvolio
  • Thou consort’st with Romeo.
  • Tybalt
  • Here’s my fiddlestick. Here’s that shall make you dance. Zounds, “consort”!
  • Thou art a villain.Turn and draw.
  • Love thee better than thou canst devise, Till thou shalt know the reason of my love.
  • Romeo
  • Alla stoccata carries it away. Tybalt, you ratcatcher, will you walk?
  • No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Benvolio and Mercutio are on the streets of Verona, arguing over how their personalities would turn into a something dangerous.
  • A plague o' both your houses! I am sped.
  • Tybalt enters and Mercutio calls him a “friend” of Romeo’s and challenges to the extent of which he deals with him.'
  • Romeo tries to make a peaceful resolution by preventing the fight with his wife's cousin. Then Mercutio, disgusted by Romeo's unwillingness to fight, answers Tybalt's insults on Romeo.
  • Affection makes him false. He speaks not true.
  • Let Romeo hence in haste, Else, when he’s found, that hour is his last.
  • Everything backfires when Romeo steps into the middle of the fight and Tybalt stabs Mercutio, killing him.
  • Tybalt was very happy over Mercutio’s death, so Romeo gets angry and kills Tybalt.
  • Lady Capulet claims that more of the Montague family was involved in this death as they all lie by nature. The Prince decides to exile Romeo from the city of Verona.
