  • Murellus: What do you mean by "mend" me? 
  •   Flavius: Don't you know that working men aren't supposed to be out on a workday?! What is your trade?
  • Cobbler: I am a mender of worn soles. If your sole is worn out I can mend you. 
  • Panel 1 
  • Flavius: Why aren't you in your shop today? Why are you and these men in the streets? 
  •   Murellus: Why would you celebrate it? You people used to love Pompey and now you celebrate Caesar who comes in triumph over Pompey's defeated sons? Get out of here and go home!!!
  • Cobbler: We took the day off the see Caesar and celebrate his triumph 
  • 
  • The scene starts out with Flavius, Murellus, a cobbler, and a carpenter. Flavius and Murellus are part of an upper class and are scolding the workers. 
  • Cobbler: I am a cobbler. I'm a surgeon to old shoes
  • Flavius and Murellus soon find out why the people are gathering in the streets and get upset with them for wanting to celebrate Caesar.
