Huck showed his bravery and maturity by telling the Mr.Welshman about the spaniard and Injun Joe were going to hurt Mrs.Douglas.

Tom and Huck went over to widow Douglas's house because, there as a large crowd inside her house. Everyone saw Tom and Huck and invited them in. Huck did not like large crowds.
Huck and Tom walked in the house and everybody was there. Mrs.Douglas's was having a party for the Welshman and his sons, after what had happened to her the other night. Mr.Jones was praising for the brave soul who warned them abut old widow. That brave soul was Huck .
The widow praised and glorified Huck for his courage and big heart for telling the Welshmans. She said she was going to give him a forever home. Tom said he won't need that, he'll be rich upon his wildest dreams. Everyone was confused. Tom went outside and brought back a box with hundreds of coins. Half was for him and half for Huck. Everyone was in shock.
