  • I am the most noble king in the land!
  • Rising Action
  • Will you marry me, Rona.
  • Yes, of course!
  • Hubris
  • You can not get married!
  • I am engaged father!
  • I have no money for a dowry. What will the other people think of me? This wedding cannot happen.
  • A noble King lived in a palace with his daughter and his three sons.
  • Climax
  • One day, Rona, the kings oldest child was asked to be married by one of the most noble princes in the land . Rona said yes, of course. The next day Rona went rushing to her father to tell him the news.
  • Falling action
  • Due to poor finial decisions and excessive gambling the king had no money to pay for a dowry. The king made a plan. He would secretly poison his daughters fiancé so that the public would not suspect that the king was out of money. Then to get out of his debt, he would marry off his three sons to the most noble and wealthy of bachelorettes.
  • Conclusion
  • Because of what I have done I have caused my own daughter to take her own life.
  • The king kills Rona's fiancé by slipping poison into one of his drinks. Everyone was mourning. Everything was going according to the plan. No one suspected that the king was behind this.
  • Phase 2 of the Kings plan was to quickly have his three sons married, but Rona was so distressed from the loss of the love of her life that she took her own life by drinking the piosion. 
  • The king finally realizes what he has done wrong but only when it is to late. He wanted to be rich and noble but in the end he was in debt and alone.
