Storyboard Text

  • I understand son. I will throw you a parade so you can see the city. Everyone will love you.
  • Siddhartha told his dad about his want to go outside and it turned out well. But his dad had a very specific plan to ensure he only saw good things.
  • Dad I need to leave this kingdom and see what's on the outside, I heard music and I need to hear more.
  • Siddhartha was not too happy with this parade so eventually he wandered off and into the city.
  • Make sure he stays on route
  • He ended up in a very bad and sick part out town and to not be noticed he covered himself. On his walk he saw a very old man and a man very sick.
  • I feel so bad all these people, the sick and the old, I don't know how to feel
  • Somebody please help me, my stomach hurts
  • I can't see, my vision is gone, It hurts to walk, please help me to get home
  • He soon realized that life was not easy and that there was endless suffering that he felt he needed to fix.  He decided that leaving the kingdom would be the best way to do this.
  • This is awful, how can the world be this bad?
  • Siddhartha had been with the ascetic for 6 years now. He had learned how to meditate and strengthen his mind. he had discovered the control Buddhist teaching. It was then that he became, Buddha.
  • 6 years later ...
  • I have finally found the middle path, I know how to properly reject extremes of self discipline and sensual indulgence.
  • Now called Buddha, he was teaching others everywhere. People were following him, and listening to him. it wasn't until later that he died from food poisoning.
