  • I never have to work with the  parliament 
  • James I is the king and he believes in the "Divine Rights of Kings", which means he did not want to work with the Parliament(The people saying "we need you" are the Parliament people).
  • In 1642 it was the start of the Civil War, which included the Roundheads vs. the Cavaliers.

  • I William and I Mary accept the throne

  • King Charles was the first person to get beheaded in public. Cromwell sets up military dictatorship and they abolished the monarchy. 
  • Bill of Rights
  • At the start of the Revolution James I fled to another place (France).  James I was a catholic King.
  • William and Mary accept the throne and it was the end of the revolution with almost nobloodshed. 
  • In 1689 the Bill of Rights were written. The Bill of Rights laid the foundation for constitutional monarchy.
