After that incident, they decided to go the bar. They played games and drank. Then they got the BRILLIANT idea to go to another bar.
When walking to the third bar, they passed by the redcoats outside of the customs hall. They threw snowballs, rocks, and more at the redcoats.
Go back to England you lobster back!
A redcoat walked over and told the colonists to scram, but they didn't listen. The colonists started harassing the soldier. Suddenly...
A shot rang out. The first to die was an African-American named Crispus Attucks. After that, a few more shots rang out. In the end, 5 people died in the end. There were no casualties from the redcoats.
Sam Adams, the leader of the Sons of Liberty, asked a guy named Paul Revere to help get the word out about the news. Sam was using the wordage "The Boston Massacre," to make it sound like the British started the fight. It worked and made thousands of colonists angry.
...and then the gun was like bang!
A trial was then held for the soldiers. Sam Adams's cousin, John Adams, defends the soldiers in the case. The soldiers win the case, which leaves the colonists outraged. This will long be known as one of the events that sparked the revolutionary war.
