  • Sacajawea is having a baby.
  • It's alright Sacajawea you are going to be okay.
  • Okay, we are coming.
  • Lewis! Clark! Sacajawea has given birth. Come on.
  • Saturday, February 11, 1805, Mandan Villages. We were welcomed by the Mandan and Hidatsa Indians. We met Sacajawea (Lemi-Shoshone) and her husband Charbonneau.
  • He is so cute.
  • Lewis, Clark, meet Baptiste
  • We were informed by Jessome that he had given Sacajawea the rattle of a rattlesnake mixed with a little bit of water to help with the birth.
  • We would like to ask if you two would be interested in joining us on our expedition.
  • We would be honored to.
  • Ten minutes later we are informed that Sacajawea had given birth to a healthy baby boy.
  • Goodbye.
  • Back at the Tee-pee. We met Baptiste. Both of us knew that Sacajawea was going to very important to us.
  •  We asked Charbonneau and Sacajawea to come with us and interpret. Both agreed and when winter would pass we would leave.
  • The end
