  • So...Shall we go to the houses?
  • Here my friend Bobby and I will be showing you around
  • the streets are so big so that bullock carts and elephants can get through
  • It's also really hot in my house
  • Alex is working on the roof because he has to get his job done
  • Toilet Room
  • all the dirty water goes through the water pipes into the street
  • you have to stand on a brick stone to shower
  • Shower Room
  • We're in Mohenjo-Daro.  We are also on the Indus River. The Indus River existed 5,000 years ago in the modern countries of Pakistan and northern India.
  • I purify people a couple times a year
  • This is the place where we purify people
  • People had small houses which were used as workshops. When they had to work, they would work inside. They also worked on the roof because it was flat.
  • SEAL ROOM
  • we use this room a few times a day
  • this is our 'work' place where we put labels on items to see when they wear out
  • When you are finished with your shower, the dirty water went through out pipe system into the street
  • it can be really cold out here on the water
  • this isn't the only place we like to trade our items
  • this is a religious ceremony where they purify they're people
  • We use seals to mark the date on items. for example like milk, there's an expiration date on it. that's kinda what we do with the seals
  • The Indus people didn't really have a lot of money, so they traded with foods and other goods
