  • 1824- John Quincy Adams and the Corrupt Bargain
  • 1828- Tariff of Abomination
  • 1828- Jackson 1st election
  • John Q Adams lost the election to Andrew Jackson and he accused Jackson of paying for his presidency.
  • 1828- South Carolina Nullification
  • The Tariff of Abominations was a Protective Tariff that helped the North with industry get more tax money and the South got mad because it didn't favor them with the agriculture and cotton.
  • 1832- Worcester vs. Georgia
  • Andrew Jackson won the election of 1828 and is going to serve a second term in office
  • 1836- Trail of Tears
  • The South Carolina Nullification means that South Carolina nullified the law of High Tariffs in the North and they thought it was unconstitutional and decided to nullify that law because it didnt benefit them and benefitted the North more and no one wanted cotton.
  • Worchester v. Georgia was a court case between a civilian by the last name Worchester who was housing Indians in his home which led to Georgia passing a law that didn't allow white men to live with Indians.
  • The Trail of Tears was a journey to the west of the Mississippi River because Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act and sent troops to force the Indians of that region of the US.
