  • Yes!! I found the pearl of the world!

  • Kino and Juana live their daily life in their small village, their baby Coyotito peacefully laying their. Juana makes corn cakes as breakfast while Kino listens to the song of the family.
  • Falling Action: Devastated and Angry
  • The song of death...
  • Juana and Coyotito start looking for pearls to pay for a cure for their baby Coyotito, since he got bitten by a scorpion, and then find the pearl of the world. Other fishermen hear of the news and it spreads quickly in La Paz.
  • Resolution: Depressed and Silent
  • After people try to steal the pearl, Juana notices its evil, and tries to throw it away. Kino catches her, and hits her in anger. He feels betrayed and is mad. 
  • Kino and Juana left La Paz in hopes of finding a pearl dealer in the main city. As they stop to rest, they see trackers.  They go to a cave to avoid the trackers. So they can escape, Kino makes a plan to steal the rifle. After they shoot nothingness since they hear a baby crying, Kino grabs the gun and kills all trackers.
  • The trackers from before randomly shot in the dark, and hit Coyotito. He dies, and Juana and Kino go back to La Paz in despair. Both Juana and Kino decide the pearl is evil, and throw it back in the ocean.
