  • The drought, It could've caused the mayans to be in War. Why? Well it is more likely the empire had to go to war for search if land.
  • Either way the Spanish conquistador and the king had war. According to Theory #1 Warfare it says "In Guatemala that turned up some 45 skeletons including the Mayan king & his wife. Many were appear to be killed by spears on the throat."

  • The Spanish Conquistador might of conquered the mayans. For the land. But yet in the article it says "Something drastically hanged to make the mayans become more warlike."

  • Another thing the drought could of caused was Disease. How? Well without water they'll die. Mostly water is the one main thing we all need.
  • In the article or story thing it says there is a bug called "peregrinus maidis" which spreads virus and it affected the mayan crops. According to the article or story it says "Its disease is mostly deadly that it affected the mayan food supply." The bug either had nothing to eat at that time that might be the reason why it affected the mayan food.
  • Another Disease that the drought could of caused was "Howler Monkey." The Howler monkey is known of carrying yellow fever. According to the article it says "The yellow fever can be transmitted to bats and mosquitos and affect the howler monkeys." One thing that could of caused the yellow fever was the drought. Something must of drank or ate something that died from that fever like a plant or animal that was affected by the yellow fever.
