Topic : The Water Cycle
Evaporation is the process which changes water (a Liquid) into a gas or a vapour.Evaporation is the most important pathway that water moves from a liquid state back into the water cycle as a water vapour.
Transpiration is when moisture is carried through plants to small pores , where the moisture is changed into a vapour.
Precipitation is when water is released from the clouds in any of these following ways : Rain , freezing rain ,sleet , snow or even hail. Precipitation is one of the main parts in the water cycle.
The Water Cycle
RunOFF is a process which land water is moved to the oceans , mainly in the form of rivers , lakes and streams.Runoff cannot evaporate nor penetrate the surface to become underground water.
Next stop PERCOLATION
Percolation is when rainfall travels underground through a process called percolation, where water travels downwards through very small spaces between rocks and soil.
