  • Where is thy leather apron and thy rule? what does thou with thy best apearel on? you, sir what trade are you?
  • Act I: Sc I
  • TRuly sir, in respect of a fine workman. I am but, as you would say, a cobbler
  • Act II: Sc II
  •                          Act III: Sc II
  • Marullus walks into town seeing everyone not wearing there trades. He finds a cobbler to ask what is going on? The Cobbler explains "Truly, sir, to wear out their shoes, to get myself into more work. But indeed, Sir we make holiday to see Caeser abd to rejoice in his triumph." ( Act I: Sc I: pg 823)
  • Act IV: Sc III
  • Caesers wife Calpurnia has a dream that Caeser is going to die. Calpurnia begs for Caeser to stay home and not go out cause of the dream. Decius changes his mind about the dream by saying "The dream is all amiss fortunate: your statue spouting blood in many pipes in which so many smiling roman bathed" (Act 2: sc 2: Pg 853)
  • Act V: Sc IV
  • The comparisers kill Caeser, Brutus gives a speech on why he did it. "Then none have i offended. I have done no more to Caeser then you shall do to Brutus. The question of his death is enrolled in the capital; his glory not extenuated, werein he was worthy, nor his offenses inforced, for which he suffered death" (Act 3: Sc 2: Pg 871)
  • Theme Act II: Sc III
  • Brutus and Cassius ague about Cassius begging for money to pay the troops and Brutus doesn't want to give money. Brutus calls Cassius a itching palm. Cassius starts to say " Have not you love enough to bear with me when the rash humor which my mother gave me makes me forgetful?" (Act IV: Sc 3: Pg 891). 
  • At the end of the war Brutus asks Starto to stand with his sword up so Brutus can jump on it to kill himself. Octavius and Antony arrive and see Brutus Dead. Antony says " This was the noblest Roman of them all. All the conspirators save only he did that they did in env of great Caeser" (Act V: Sc IV: Pg 912)
  • Brutus, Cassius, Trerbonius, and Caeser are walking to the temple and Artemidorus gives Caeser a warning about Brutus and the others but brutus doesn't listen to him. The theme is your friends are not always good friends sometimes you have to watch who you hang around.
