As promised Martin became a monk, he studied the word of God to spread Christianity. During his life as a monk, he learnt how to speak Italian. This enabled him fluently read the bible due to it being in Italian. He then found out that the Catholic Church wasn't teaching the correct scriptures and chapters that were in the bible. When he mentioned these problems, he was then kicked out of Rome and told to never come back.
Translating the Bible to German
In protest, he went back to Germany and nailed the 95 Thesis to the Wittenburg Castle Catholic Church. This was a common occurrence to attach messages to the door in this manner but not this context.

Martins corrections soon became the word on the street, growing day by day. With copies of his message selling all around town, Martin became a public figure. Martin Luter was truly frustrated with the loss of role. He had a plan to translate the Bible from Italian to German so everyone could read it and discover the Catholic Churches wrongdoings. It quickly gained attention and soon everyone knew about the once-secret situation.
