Storyboard Text

  • This lake represents a collection, collections are sources of water where evaporation occurs.
  • Evaporation occurs when water from a collection is turned into water vapor and rises until it eventually is formed into a cloud.
  • Condensation occurs when water vapor has formed around a particle of some sort and creates a cloud to store vapor.
  • Precipitation then starts to fall once a cloud has too much vapor and gravity then starts to cause rain, snow, etc. to fall.
  • Precipitation can cause runoff which is extra rain or precipitation going back to the enviornment.
  • Energy is what allows the water cycle to run effectively!
