Jacques Charles was a French inventor, scientist, mathematician, and balloonist. Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac was a French chemist and physicist. He is known mostly for his discovery that water is made of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen They both lived and studied in France. The law was invented somewhere between 1778-1850
Jacques Charles and Joseph Gay-Lussac
What variables remain constant? The variable P is held constant
What formula can be used to sole the equation? You can use the formula P1V1 times T2 and P2V2 times T1 and then divide the two numbers
Direct or Indirect? The variables have a Direct relationship
The combined gas law is important because it helps us breathing is something everyone does on a daily bases.
the combined gas law is used when air bags deploy It is also used when a fire extinguisher goes off
