Ernesto, the new born water droplet, starts his journey on a plant, where he will eventually evaporate from an aerial part of the plant such as a leaf or stem. This process is called TRANSPIRATION and it is a stage in the common known Water Cycle.

After Ernesto has evaporated from the plant, he moves on to his next stage of life, CONDENSATION. This is where he will join his friends and family to become a cloud. This is also his first change of state, meaning before he was a liquid, but now he is a gas.

After a couple hours of fun with friends, Ernesto starts to transform back to a water droplet. Once he and all of his friends are water droplets, the cloud will drop them back down to the Earth.
