The main charactors of the story are Jebel and Tel Hasani. They meet in the when Jebel is granted a quest and will be able to pick any slave he wishes. Jebel is a thin boy who comes from a very well respected family. Tel Hasani was born in a poor family and has to serve others to kepp his family alive.
Jebel wants to journey to patation a god to make him invinceble. The trip is long hard and full of hardships. If Jebel is succesful he will become invinceble and be able to return home and get everythinh he has ever wanted and desired.
Many things are keeping Jebel and Tel Hasani from getting what they want. The main things that affect them are the Biarya, a evil religious group who will kill, cut, kick, and eat anything to spread their religion. Another main threat to Jebel and Tel Hasani is the 'fake' masters, they are traders who only help themself and aren'y affraid to kill anone for a profit.
In the end Jebel becomes invincable, and becomes the executioner of his city. Tel Hasani dies in the cave, and his family is set free. The 'fake' masters are dead as long as the evil religious tribe. Jebel doesn't kill anyne with his new job and makes his cities legal system more fair and just.
