the pH scale ranks things from 0-14 based on acidity. Something such as vinegar would score lower than 7 on the pH scale meaning it is acidic. However more dilute substances would score higher (less acidic).
-Air pollution by humans (factories, powerplants, etc.) emit gaseous substances also resulting in reactions with the water molecules in the air resulting in acid rain. -Volcanic emission can cause an acidic substance to form in the air which react to nitric oxides which then react with water molecules forming acid rain.
Acid rain cannot directly damage human bodies due to diluteness however, when the gaseous emission is being released, it can cause damage to the lungs when being inhaled and causes breathing issues. It also strongly effects the environment around them.
Acid Rain can eaisly be prevented by finding healthier ways to get natural resources, adnd by findin ways to lessen the amount of air pollution from factories and buildings on a daily basis.
