  • The participants in the Korean War were SK, NK, the UN, China, and the US.
  • Do you know who was in the Korean War? 
  • What caused the Korean War?
  • The Korean War started when NK invaded SK to take territory.
  • When did you get locked up in here?
  • I got locked up on June 25, 1950. The day the Korean War started. 
  • The main two countries fighting were North Korean and South Korea, but the Soviet Union aided North Korea and the US aided South Korea. 
  • Do you know where the Korean War took place?
  • The Korean War took place in North and South Korea
  • North Korea was a communist government that wanted South Korea to be communist also. South Korea was capitalist and did not want to be communist.
  • Well son, do you remember why the Korean War started? 
  • Yes, because of the differences in governments in N and S Korea.
  • The Korean began on the 25th of June, in 1950.
  • How did North Korea attack South Korea?
  • They sent many troops down into South Korea trying to take over cities.
  • The fighting mostly took place at the 38th parallel when North Korea invaded South Korea. The Soviet Union helped North Korea and the United States helped South Korea. 
  • The North Korean government was communist in the Korean War. The South Korean government was capitalist and did not want to join North Korea. North Korea attacked South Korea because of this. 
  • North Korean troops marched down into South Korean trying to take over large cities so they could take control of South Korea. South Korea fired back and stood up to them.
