Storyboard Text

  • "Friends, have we never been in danger before this? More fearsome is it now when the Cyclops penned us in his cave? What power we had!"
  • "Get the ore shafts in your hands , and lay back hard on your benches; hit these breaking seas."
  • "I strained my eyes upon the cliffside veiled in cloud, but, nowhere could i catch sight of her."
  • Odysseus and his crew in rough waters sailing away from the island covered in mist. Whilst encouraging his men to not be fearful of the monsters.
  • Odysseus is sailing towards the monsters and he must choose to face either Scylla or Charybdis.
  • Odysseus wont comply with Scylla's intentions so he decides to fight back.
  • "I happened to glance aft at ship and oarsmen and caught sight of their arms and legs, dangling high overhead."
  • In grief, Odysseus sails towards from Scylla and his suffering shipmates sorrowfully.
  • "And all this time, in travail, sobbing, gaining on the current, we rowed into the strait"
  • When Scylla vomits she creates a huge pool of fire that doesn't go out even though its in water.
  • "The shot spume soared to landside heights and fell like rain."
  • "But as I sent them on to Scylla, I told them nothing as they could do nothing." Odysseus and his men come face to face with Scylla for the first time; knowing not of what to do.
