  • The house was located in Arlington, Virginia. Robert E. Lee lived there with his wife and kids.
  • On 1861 the Union took over the house. The Union made sure Robert E. Lee didn't come back, so they started to buried people.
  • He won't come back now!
  • After the war ended one of the grandchildren ended up selling the house to the government for 150000. It impacted our nation because it has history within the walls, that help us understand how times were back then, and helps us understand what happened.
  • Robert E. Lee had all seven children in The Arlington House
  • The Arlington House helped us understand our time period a little more, because it is filled with history, with surrounding graves.

  • The son and grandson of Abraham Lincoln are buried at Arlington. There are about 26 burials per day.
