  • why are you so upset?
  • what's wrong?
  • just leave me alone!
  • in this scene Tahlia has just gotten her results back and she found out she has gotten a bad grade, and hears other students talking about how they got good grades. she feels as though she let herself down and is making assumptions and her thinking error is labelling herself as useless and dumb and the worst in her class
  • scene four: self awareness
  • I shouldn't have snapped at my friends, they were only trying to help and I just reacted badly due to stress and dissapointment
  • in this scene Tahlia is feeling angry at herself and upset that she failed. she's disappointed in herself, tense and uneasy. she's also discouraged at her learning ability
  • scene five:regulation
  • I'm so happy I decided to do this, I feel a lot calmer now and ready to start studying for my next test
  • Tahlia is still at her ballet class, feeling peeved and upset. her two friends, Mila and Ruby are there, Tahlia looks disappointed so he friends ask if she's ok and why she's upset. Tahlia is irritated and doesn't want them to know why she's upset because she's embarrassed, so because she's annoyed and caught up in the moment she snaps at them, telling them to mind their own business, her friends are upset by her reaction and ignore her for the rest of the night.
  • scene six: repair relationships
  • guys I'm so sorry for how I acted yesterday, I had just failed a test and took it out on you
  • it's okay, we understand
  • Tahlia is now at home in her bedroom alone and has realised the way she reacted to her friends caring about her wasn't healthy or authentic and she should have opened up to them instead of bottling it up and then exploding
  • after she's realised she reacted in an unhealthy way, she decides to go for a walk to clear her mind, which works and she's left feeling happy and prepared.
  • soon after school the next day, Tahlia goes back to her dance class and has made up her mind to apologise and explain her actions and why she was upset. she tells them that she had recently failed her test and was angry at only herself, not them. they tell her that they understood why she was angry and tell hr that they're there for her whenever she's stressed.
